Description of the accomodation:
This is a delightful, small apartment, newly re-structured,

area, a bathroom that features a shower with hydro-massage, and a fully equipped
corner kitchen/cooking area.
The accommodation is heated and also offers air conditioning.
Among the equipment included in the rental cost is a microwe oven, a television, an iron, a
hairdryer, a radio-cd and a ‘PlayStation 1’.
The apartment is situated in the heart of Rome, very close to the famous Pyramid
of Caio Cestio, from where it is an easy 10 minutes walk to arrive at the
Colosseum. From there you may wish to return to the apartment by using the
underground railway network.
The accommodation is well-served by the Rome metropolitan underground railway,
in fact the ‘Piramide’ station is literally across the road in front of the
apartment - less than two minutes walk from the door, thus putting the entire
city within comfortable reach!
The city’s bus and night bus services also stop directly in front of the
apartment, while the regular surface railway and airport railway services for
Fiumicino airport are immediately on hand.. Directly in front of the aparment is
also the station of the train for Ostia beach.
The apartment is in an area surrounded by ancient Roman monuments, including the
walls of the ancient city, the Pyramide, and the ‘Porta Romana of St. Paul’,
while Roman nightlife abounds in the nearby Ostiense neighbourhood.
For those who are too busy to cook, a large ‘rosticceria’, or eat-in / take-away
restaurant, is directly next door, below the apartment – very useful!
The apartment is beautifully furnished, comfortable, well-situated for all
services, and is warm in winter and cool during the summer – a real ‘home from
home’.
How to arrive at the apartment:
By air: from Rome Fiumicino take the train that arrives at the Ostiense station
in Rome, then on foot across Via Ostiense. You will arrive directly at the main
entrance doorway.
Alternatively, use the internal underground railway walkways. On exiting the
metropolitan underground station at Ostiense, simply cross the road and you have
arrived at the doorway.
By train: after arriving at Rome’s Termini station use the ‘B’ line of the
metropolitan underground railway. Exit at ‘Pyramide’ station. Cross the road and
you have arrived at the street-level entrance doorway.
Alternatively, on arriving at Rome’s Ostiense surface railway station, cross the
Via Ostiense on foot or use the internal underground railway walkways – cross
the road and you will arrive at the main, street-level entrance doorway.
By car: from all directions, when nearing Rome by road, take the G.R.A. (Great
Ring Road that circles the city of Rome) and exit at the slip-road No.28 for Via
Ostiense. Follow the road straight on to the ‘Pyramide’ – there really is an
enormous Egyptian marble pyramid in the middle of the street – and you have
arrived at your destination.
